Cazal- Vintage Collection 2008
Created in 1975 by its chief designer Cari Zalloni, the name Cazal is synonymous with street fashion and hip hop culture. Cyd Charisse...a legend
Coming from the world of movement you have to pay tribute to those that broke boundaries with their style and grace. Known in Hollywood as "Legs", Cyd Charisse was no exception and was a true testament to her art. One can not deny being saddened by her recent passing. Her ability to infuse classical & jazz techique with cheeky sex appeal was effortless. Here's but a small portion of her work with Gene Kelly in the classic "Singin' in the Rain.

We're not trying to show favoritism just because we handle the international Marketing/PR for this brand (okay so maybe a little), but it seems like there are a ton of emerging lifestyle brands dropping daily, and it's hard to keep track of those who are in it for the long haul. Thankfully brands like Mamika are able to set themselves apart from the rest. Created in '07, its owner and designer Karin Gasser core focus is providing fashion lovers comfortable urbanized gear. Did we forget to mention that the garments are hand sewn, embellished, and that clients can customize their pieces as well? (Consultation required of course).
